What is Looking for the Magic?
We all have an innate desire to create things. Whether it is painting, writing, or creating a recipe. It is the best form of meditation. It makes us present. Put us in the moment. Brings us calm. It is a process that over a lifetime leads us to all the things that light us up. It is free and plentiful. And we all find our own way into the state where the creative inspiration flows. For me, it is finding the wonder in the world. I explore nature. I find it in the bark of century-old trees or the intricate details of a camellia bloom. I delight in traveling to new places and discovering what grows there and what people create in different regions of the world. Nature is what connects us all. Here I write about my discoveries and the creative practice.

About Me
I am an illustrator, designer, and licensed artist. I am intrigued by the perfection of a tiny leaf, drawn to the texture on the bark of a tree, and delight in the geometric pattern of a flower. And color. I LOVE color. I create art collections from my travels and daily observations of nature. Every day I walk my southern California neighborhood and find something to inspire my art practice.
You can find me posting new art weekly on Instagram.
My store is located on Etsy.
I also work freelance as a designer and illustrator. I have run my own creative design business for two decades. To get in touch email me.
